About Me…

Merry meet! I’m Grace. A natural light photographer from the small town of Marlboro Ohio. I fell in love with photography when I was just a girl. My Momma had an old Canon “film” camera that she took with us practically everywhere we went, nature walks, beaches, zoos, historical landmarks and so on. She was always taking photos of the things that she thought were beautiful. I loved getting the photos back and we would look through them laughing at the funny faces & poses, remembering the sounds of the ocean or the birds singing, the wind blowing through the trees, the warmth of the sun or the rhythm of the raindrops falling. I was often the object in her view finder, but one day Momma handed me the camera and told me to capture something that I thought was beautiful, then the Spark hit!!! I was behind the lens and I was going to be a photographer for National Geographic!!! I discovered that I love to capture nature and people in life and to be able to share these moments with them and give them a memory to hold onto and reflect back on with a photo. Pictures to me aren’t “just a pictures” rather a live memory in a photo. Now my days aren’t spent traveling the world and risking my life to take pictures of bears…there was this one time on my honeymoon in Tennessee. But I promised my Wife that I would try my best not to get that close to anything with big teeth like that again. Luckily for us the ‘yotes keep their distance from our farm. Now I spend my time tending our small farm, canning, cooking & baking for my family, and taking my camera everywhere I go. So now that you know a little about me, I would love the opportunity to capture your life filled moments to be sure your memories are unforgettable too.
